Principal Eleni McCabe oversees °µÍø½ûÇøâ€™s 1st-4th grade. She works closely with classroom teachers and instructional coaches to ensure that °µÍø½ûÇøâ€™s youngest students benefit from a strong academic program that ensures high academic achievement in both Spanish and English, develops leaders, and values all cultures.
Eleni joined °µÍø½ûÇø ten years ago as a PK4 teacher and has since worked closely with teachers to build an outstanding bilingual early childhood and early elementary program. Prior to her current role, Eleni held the positions of teacher, instructional coach, and resident principal.
Eleni is a graduate of the New Leaders Aspiring Principals program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s in early childhood education from George Mason University. Eleni is °µÍø½ûÇøâ€™s resident ballerina and loves teaching ballet after school to help prepare students for the annual Nutcracker and spring concert.
